OPEN POSITION 1
CUSTOMER SERVICE REP.
Greetings! We have available a full-time, long-term position in the Customer Service are at Cornerstone Services, Inc. (CRST). You must have immaculate spoken and written English skills. We commit to professional training, will pay for professional certification(s), and, are looking for a long-term team member.
CRST provides direct mail, printing, web design and general marketing/advertising services to non-profit organizations and small businesses. This role in Customer Service requires frequent phone interaction with prospects, clients and vendors throughout the day (good news: no cold-calling). You will also be in QuickBooks Online and be assisting with estimates and invoicing. There are many "special projects", such as participating in software development, along with a variety of administrative duties, so every day is likely to be different than the next.
We use Asana.com to manage our projects, but we will provide training for the right person. Mostly, you must be able to be attentive to detail and be able to manage a very large number of incoming calls/emails regarding print/mail, web design, web, etc. projects. It is likely that a person best suited for this position would have robust Virtual Assistant experience or exposure in a creative or advertising agency, and, maybe... just maybe... you might even have WordPress experience.
Responsibilities:
* Frequent phone/email communication with prospects, vendors, clients, partners, et al;
* Set-up of projects using the Asana.com project management software;
* Participation and coordination of various company projects (which once again would involve graphic design, direct mail, printing, data and web development);
* Daily use of QuickBooks for Estimates and Invoices (no other accounting; we can train for the right person);
* Self-management on "To Do" list items;
* Commitment to on-going Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation (i.e. contribution) towards the "Project Management Guide" (all departments have such "guides").
Qualities / Skills / Set-up:
* Native mastery and command of English (verbal/written);
* Customer Service experience (in a telephonic setting, using noise-cancelling equipment; you must have a dedicated, noise-free professional environment);
* "Quick Start" to help out quickly;
* Intelligence and Common Sense;
* Exposure to QuickBooks Online or estimating/invoicing a big plus;
* MS Office (Excel/Word) and Google Workshare experience;
* Extraordinary attention to detail and double-checking (can't emphasize this enough); and,
* Other bonus points: WordPress and any Project Management experience, perhaps in context of advertising/print/web development
Our business hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST (GMT-4 or "New York Time") and these would be your hours, too. Repeat, we work Eastern Standard Time and are New York based. Our work environment is PC not Apple/Mac, so your familiarity with such a desktop setting is assumed. Naturally, your internet service must be steady with excellent clock-speed connectivity.
