Westernmost and Easternmost Post Offices

The westernmost post office in the contiguous 48 states of the United States is located in La Push, WA 98350 (ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Push,_Washington#), home to the Quileute Tribe, population between 375ct and 400ct. Outside the contiguous 48, when including Alaska and Hawaii, the westernmost post office is the “city” of Adak, AK 99546, known largely for the former Naval Air Facility Adak (NAVFAC Adak); Adak, AK has a current population of approximately 150ct (ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adak,_Alaska).
The easternmost post office in the contiguous 48 United States (as well as all 50 states) is Lubec, ME 04652. The Village of Lubec (ref: https://downeast.com/our-towns/lubec-maine/) has a population of over 1,350 people and is home to Quoddy Head State Park (ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lubec,_Maine), and most residents are reliant upon tourism and a legacy but fledgling commercial fishing industry.
