An easy, inexpensive way to get some immediate stealth intel is to mark the return address on envelope mailings with a Sharpie rather than get different return envelopes printed. Just use a different color or position placement along the side of a handful or a box of envelopes. The responder probably won’t think anything of it, and you’ll have better analytics about the mailing.
